Day one of the 5th Annual Cumberland Bandits Capital Spring AAA Roundup at the Richcraft Sensplex has drawn to a close, and we could not be any happier with how the day has unfolded.  Today’s games featured plenty of excitement as teams began their quest to take home the tournament crown and call themselves Champions. A big thank you goes out to all of our participants for making Face-Off Friday a big success.

The day featured several tremendous goals, tape to tape passes and some incredible saves. Several players displayed tremendous skill, but none more so than our division leaders.

Boys Minor Peewee: Ryan McNally and Luc Posthumous - Young Guns (5 pts)

Boys Minor Bantam: Derek Fontaine - Myers Snipers (5 pts)

Day Two kicks off bright and early tomorrow morning with two Minor Peewee matchups, with the Ottawa Little Sens taking on the Young Guns while the Casselman Pirates take on G-Force Ottawa as well. With all teams back in action tomorrow, playoff spots will be up for grabs in both divisions.

For up-to-the-minute scores and stats, be sure to check out our Bandits page; and follow us on Twitter @Sensplex for tournament updates, photos and info!

After a long busy day at the rinks, be sure to get some rest tonight and we will see you bright and early tomorrow, for what we at the Sensplex like to call Scoreboard Saturday!
